Sitting home now after being dismissed along with the other 50 potential jurors, I've brushed Abby down, and cuddled and enjoyed her booshing me under the chin suddenly while I was drinking my iced coffee. She has turned her hunter's gaze on Crumpet and Alice, who ignore her. And she has stood up to get a look at the parakeets, and they don't seem to mind her as much as they are wary of my incursions on their living space. The air outside is hot and grey.
