Last Days in the Pacific Northwest
In about an hour, I'm off to the first-week-after appointment with the eye surgeon. I will mention to him the 'floaters' that have been dogging my peripheral vision since the surgery. If they persist, I will give them names and consider them pets, like that cat almost seen slipping around in the corner of your eye. One will be Spot because it is a small black spot, sometimes on the edge, sometimes traveling across the center of my vision. The other which resembles a bit of lint will be Fluffy....
