The Bull of Knossos -- part 2: The Black Box

The space is a room defined by curtain walls and a ceiling of pipes from which lights are rigged. It's all black: curtains, walls, floor and ceiling, and it is limited in size, hence the term for such a space: the Black Box. A Black Box is simply a space in which a stage or set can be built or not; seating is arranged however it suits the production. Without a show, it is merely a black and empty cube.
