New!

So... The new old laptop was a fail. However, they promised if I couldn't work with it, I could bring it back and apply the money to another. So--I did that today. And here I sit with a NEW new laptop, trying to find my way in, trying to make it mine. Like so many here, I do not love this process. It's Windows 11, for one thing, after my years of feeling quite content with W 10. It's a Gateway, the brand with the cow, another first for me! Friday's gonna be busy!

Morning is showing just a little through the back sliding door, and I'm sitting here with the latest episode of The British Baking Show playing. At the moment they are attempting to make smores. (They've missed the concept, I fear...) There's another weekend event starting today, where Charlie will be with his post-apocalyptic bears. This means a couple of hours of set-up time this afternoon. It's the Curiosities & Oddities show, and it's here in the Springs, so it's a good show for him and for... Sign in to see full entry.
