Today was a better day than Saturday at the event, I am glad to report. It was a quiet morning again, but in the afternoon--which only rant to 4pm, not 6--several more bears and a couple of the books were sold. Charlie did better than just paying for the booth, around $350--enough to take the edge off some bills. It wasn't like the first of the Curiosities & Oddities events when he made over $1000, but then that one happened just when we were coming out from behind our doors and risking the... Saturday Blues

1'The winds are blowing in the cold front this morning, a little later than predicted, the low this morning at 5:30 being in the 50s. This time tomorrow it will be 30s. Yesterday's event, the Curiosities & Oddities Expo, was a very, very slow day for business, but great for conversations and meetings. The energy was not lively or enthusiastic or fun, and while Charlie's creations--Wasteland Bears, wood-burned decorated wands, dice, and a wooden sword, and his amazing weird sculptures, his book...
