Stewards instead of Exploiters

Since we humans have demolished the predator populations, we must take their place to keep prey animals in check. Some of us, anyway. I am no hunter... I also eat much less meat than I used to. Seeing what used to be simply burgers on the hoof playing with toys, showing affection and grief, it gets harder to see them as unworthy of life. Trouble is, by now there are way too many, and there need to be fewer. Of them, but also, of us. Still, a pandemic or a war is a hard way to go about it. I... Sign in to see full entry.

What, Friday again, already? Wait... no... SATURDAY???

So pleased with the rain last night! It's the first nature has gifted the garden since we began to set it all up. There was thunder, too, and some brief hail that did no damage, though I do have most of my plants protected. There is a second planter box on legs now, too, ready to receive young plants as soon as the sprouts have grown a bit more, into their second leafing. Most of yesterday I spent creating a Patreon page, and prepping the first episode of the novel to post when it goes public.... Sign in to see full entry.
