and around 5-6 inches on the railing. The mountain-top is obscured by cloud. The thermometer out on the porch is around freezing now, at 8AM. Charlie and I have a happy little ritual lately, on evenings or afternoons when he has the time: we sit and call up from Netflix, episodes in their proper order of THE WEST WING, one of the best TV shows ever.
