The Tempest
Since writing the previous, I've watched Christopher Plummer as Prospero in the 2010 Stratford Shakespeare Festival's THE TEMPEST. Marvelous! The set, the costuming, the acting... all marvelous! The costuming and makeup for the magical sorts--Ariel, Caliban and some others--is just wonderfully imagined and executed. I found it on Netflix. And now I will have to go see A TEMPESTUOUS NOISE again, with more understanding of the story it's derived from. Sign in to see full entry.
