My son vs the Police

Seems he and his friends were gathered for a tabletop role-playing game and one of his pals did that inadvertant sit'n'dial thing--called 911 with his butt. The operator, hearing these lads talking with great enthuiasm about weapons and bodies, was alarmed and called the cops. The cops showed up and everyone there had a good laugh. Dirty dirty dog!

Yesterday was a landmark day for our Davy. It was clear and sunny, a premium day this time of year, and we took an energetic walk down at McLane Creek--the one that has changed so dramatically in the past several years of storm and flood. Since the most recent flooding around New Year's, and the snow before that, we had not visited to see what's what, what's changed, and what's still as we left it last year.
