Just catching up here - and what a catch, LOL. And it brings back memories of a doggie of ours, who liked nothing so much as rolling in other dogs' poop... He also hated
taking a bath, and on several occasions managed to escape from the tub before he had been properly cleaned and dried off...

What a great post. LOL. I'm so glad that you had a truck bed to put him in. I can't imagine riding with that in a closed cab. HAHAHA. I received my book today. It is beautiful. Can't wait to read it all. Also, I finally got the check in the mail yesterday. I'm bad about putting things off. I love the picture on the front. Looks like a trail I've walked in Oregon.

I love your posts! Your prose paints pictures even when you don't include photos! I don't have a dog, but plenty of my friends do and I can definitely see Davy writhing in ecstacy over dead fish!! Marvelous. Mal
