I broke through the barrier but in the wrong direction

So much for bouncing between 200 and 205 pounds. A week of vacation has ruined that for me. We got home late last night and I weighed this morning and found my weight at 206. It's no surprise. I wimped out on my run last night

I was so tired when I got home from work that I went to bed. That's an odd sounding sentence. I didn't make my goal for this week of running more miles than last week because of it. I started a new job this week and I think that I will be working late on Friday and Saturday nights. I still have to get up in the mornings with my son so this may be cutting my sleep by too much. I'm taking a rest day from running

Trey and I didn't go for our walk today. I was hoping that it would be enough that my calves would feel better tonight. They don't and so I think I better give them the night off. That massage can't come too soon

My calves are begging me for mercy. It's got to be from running hills every day. I think most runners just do them once a week or once in a while, not once or twice (if you count the walk Trey and I take) a day. It was a better run tonight - very nice

My run tonight went so much better than most of my previous runs in the last 5 weeks. I think that the main reason is that it was about 10 degrees cooler today than it has been for the last couple of weeks. Even running at night, it has been very warm. I have set my goal for my reward

I gave it some thought and I'm going to go with Darrke's suggestion. Mileage makes the most sense. I'm going to go ahead and set it where I want to end up. Well, I made my goal if only barely

Tonight was the last run of the week. The goal for the week was to run more than 13.5 miles. I didn't think I was going to make it but I logged in yesterday's mileage and today's and it added up to 14 miles for the week. That is so good.
