have a good holiday
Enjoy your holidays and try not to feel guilty for not lifting weights or running. A holiday means getting away from IT ALL - exercise included! You can always make up for it when you return.

astral, there is no doubt that becoming fit takes effort
but I have found that you also have to work with your body to make those changes.  If you absolutely hate running, don't create a running program, it will fail.  Maybe swimming or biking would be better.  For me, mornings are not for me so I run at night.

Don't beat yourself up over it.
It takes time to settle into a new situation. It sounds like you are doing the right thing by adjusting your running rather than making it hard for yourself by just trying to fit it in.

Darrke, I think that's going to work best for my schedule
and I also think it's going to be better for my body.  It will work well with my schedule too because I work my legs on Friday with weights.  If I take Friday and Saturday off from running, my legs can heal up from both the running and the weights.

I like your idea of resting and adding the mileage on other (non-working?) days instead.  Good luck on your trip.
