I'm less and less convinced about the whole calorie theory.  I think what you eat matters more than the amount sometimes.  I'm going to try to get more alkaline stuff next time I'm stocking up...like adding a little lime or lemon to your water.  It's supposed to change the blood chemistry and make fat easier to lose.  It's always hard at mom's house though.  All my favorite foods there...many of which I try to eat just a little but can't seem to stop once I start.

Passion, I think I have read one article on it
and I have seen a little bit of information in blogs but I haven't really looked into it.  I will now though.

Have you heard of Calorie Restriction?
It's not as much about weight loss as it is about age reversal.

Thanks Cindy. I think you're right and
I won't be surprised if I'm not back down in my normal range within a couple of days.

good for u...
...For not obsessing about your "weight". And, remember that you may be holding on to extra water weight from the junk food or foods your body isn't used to. I always gain a few when I go on holidays. And, I find what's gained quickly is lost quickly. Sounds like you have some great fitness goals though! Keep it up!
