Fact, I have heard both sides of this
I used to weigh once a week because that would show you a trend that was more important than the daily water fluctiations but now I weigh everyday because of the run journal program that I am using.

Darrke, my son is like that but he's getting to the point where
he doesn't want to share.  He used to be content to have a few bites of whatever I was eating but now he wants his own.

I find if I pay attention to my weight...
I will gain weight. If I ignore it entirely and get on the scale occasionally, while eating well, I lose it. Frequent weight checks are to be avoided......

That's how it went for me today
I made some oatmeal and my son took it so I had to make some more so that I could have some.

The kids love some of my 'diet' foods

and I have to beat them off with a stick or hide them so there is enough for me!
