I wrote a poem last afternoon 'cause I was super bored. It ended up being a little song When I found a matching cord. There. That sad little thing is the only poetry you'll ever get out of me! I really did write a bit of a song yesterday, when "The Boys" came over for a visit. They're my big... Sign in to see full entry.

Both Eyes Open
Mark doesn't have a great track record when it comes to relationships. I know he's cheated before--never on me, but on all his old girlfriends. I know he's got some commitment issues. He's selfish--a spoilt only child, that grew up in a place where most of the population feels that the world owes... Sign in to see full entry.

House cleaning with Shampoo in my eye
I got a big blob of shampoo in my eye this morning, and boy did it sting! And it's all Mark's fault. The showerhead broke yesterday. Mark broke it. He was yanking on it too hard, trying to adjust it, and snapped the little piece that controls the position. Now, the stupid thing hangs limp until you... Sign in to see full entry.

The science behind Sira
Naut left a comment on my last post, regarding my rather contradictive nature. Here's the reason for it. Hold on to your shorts bloggers, this is going to be a crash course in brain function. I'm sure most of you are familiar with the concept of right brain versus left brain, and the dominance that... Sign in to see full entry.

Quack!
That's the first word that popped into my head yesterday, having survived my appointment with the psychologist, and made it to the safety of my car again. He's not really a quack--I suppose he's actually a very good psychologist. But I'm a little sore with him, just at the moment, so this... Sign in to see full entry.

Prince Edward Island, or Canada?
My mother is from Prince Edward Island, that little land in the east. It's a beautiful place, best known for it's unique red dirt, fantastic potatoes, and being the home of Anne of Green Gables. My father is from Saskatchewan, in the heart of the prairies. It's a pretty province, in it's own special... Sign in to see full entry.

Some numbers to remember
I got an email from my uncle this morning. I'd spoken to him a few days ago, and was worried about the time it was taking to get the ball rolling with the publishing. The book was done, in my mind, and I was anxious to start seeing some results from my hard work. I was having second thoughts about... Sign in to see full entry.

Putting it all in Perspective
I'm trembling as I type this. I wouldn't even bother to write it now, but I need to. I need to talk about it now, to ease my mind, exorcize my demons, and list the details while I remember them. I went to the bank to cash a cheque about 2 hours ago. It should have been a simple outing, and I should... Sign in to see full entry.
Not making any friends
This post was inspired by the blogs of other writers. I read a couple posts today that got me thinking. Rather than leave long comments, I decided to create a post, and do a bit of venting. Incidently, I feel the need to remind everyone that this is all my opinion. I probably won't be making any... Sign in to see full entry.

Moral compass or legal avoidance
Mark said something the other day that really got me thinking, and pondering why I do things, or don't do them. What did he say? "You can't do that, it's illegal!" Sounds like a pretty straightforward statement. For the most part, people govern their lives by following the laws laid out for us. But... Sign in to see full entry.
