Re: INteresting stats Sira...

Ah, the wonderful world of writing. I think they should consider changing the name from writers to "waiters", since we spend an amazing amount of time waiting around. Waiting for agents, waiting for editors, waiting for publishers. Hurry up and write, so you can sit and wait some more

Congrats on everything, and enjoy the printing--I found it very satisfying to watch those pages flying out of the machine, and knowing that I'd filled them all with words!

Thanks for reading!

Thanks Pat!

Those numbers are just one more example of how special you are...like you needed another one

INteresting stats Sira...
..my 'book' is in the hands of an agent who keeps asking for more time...not sure what's up. I've printed my manuscript a couple of times and then done the rewrite, etc but am going to print up the entire thing again this weekend.  It's a tough road but it does feel awfully good to think that I completed a novel..would just like it if others might see it someday too!

Good luck tomorrow, Sira...I suspect you've come farther than you realize!

Thanks for those numbers. I had no idea.
And congratulations -- you'll soon be moving into an even smaller percentage bracket. :)

Re: you made me feel great when I think of my little play published internation

Kabu,

Glad I could help--but I hope you felt great before reading as well. That's a major accomplishment, and something that you should always take great pride in!

Thanks for reading

Re: Sira890

Wiley, you're the elite of the elite! Congratulations

I don't really have a lot of options with the psychologist--I have to go, if I want to be able to leave my house again without getting sick! I'm hoping for an equally drastic change for the better.

Thanks for reading!

Sira890

Thanks for posting that and making me feel great because I've published twice and it was a heck of a lot of work. Actually my first publisher was in Winfield, B.C. Wood Lake books.

So you keep going and hang in there and don't quit, you will be published.

I commend you on going to the psychologist, it is the greatest gift you can give yourself young lady. I went to talk to a psychotherapist over 30 years ago and my life changed drastically for the better and she and I still talk about difficult issues even today.

God Bless ya kiddo.
