Writing romance, or selling out?

My critiquer stated, rather bluntly, that she felt my novel would fit nicely into the romance genre. She also suggested I add some steamy love scenes. Now, I'm all for romance novels. I went out very briefly yesterday, to pick up a prescription at the pharmacy. It's an errand that should have taken me about 5 minutes. But there was a long line. Is internet shorthand a problem? idk. wat do u think?

I play an online game called Runescape. It's very interactive, giving you the chance to play and chat with people all around the world.
