Meanwhile, back at the Center...

Tuesday, my day at the Center. I was up early, thanks to my funky bladder, took my luxury shower in the new bathroom, did my hair, put on my face. Waiting at Walgreen's

When I got there I was first in line behind this guy who was picking up some serious meds for 'Caroline.' He was uninformed about her insurance, she hadn't mentioned she'd owe a co-pay and hadn't sent money along. He didn't know who the doctor was, could not confirm that Caroline had seen said... Meat Loaf: It's not just for breakfast any more.

In case you don't know what TVP is - it's Textured Vegetable Protein: aka soy. Some time in the '70s I took to stretching my hamburger by adding reconstituted TVP to the mix. Cowboy Suede...

Can you imagine what color a paint labeled Cowboy Suede would be? If you guessed some shade of brown, you'd be right. Mid-range brown with an orange tint. The Piano Man

The first Tuesday I worked at the Community Center, I noticed at some point someone had turned on the sound system to play a tape of piano music.
