I’ve always liked my street. It’s what in these parts is known as a ‘Drive’, which is part of its name. ‘Drives’ have pleasant curves, as opposed to mere Streets, which are boringly straight. Of course there are also those hoity-toity Avenues – in Toronto they even have an Avenue Road, believe it or... Sign in to see full entry.

Disappearing down the rabbit hole...Part II
I had a few interesting comments to what now turns out to be Part I of a series, and I hope a short one, lol. There were three, but today I shall only deal with the first two. I am always thankful for comments, but especially those like today’s that make me think and often show me that I didn’t make... Sign in to see full entry.

Sochi – a Success!
I just finished watching the closing ceremony of the Sochi Olympics and thought it was very well done. Back a few weeks ago I posted a short piece about the then upcoming games and my concerns over the security threat. I wrote that, ‘It’s just that I simply cannot see how the Russian authorities can... Sign in to see full entry.

Disappearing down the rabbit hole...Part I
First and foremost: Kudos to Utah Jay, who wrote this comment to one of my recent posts: I have talked to both Senator Lee and Congressman Jason Chaffits about this, and when I see them in convention again I will bring up again...They are both receptive, knowing about the problems and they are eager... “Disgusting”
I had my cast removed today. I drove myself down to the hospital on this sunny and amazingly mild morning, full of eager expectation but also some apprehension. At the reception in the Fracture Clinic is the resident grump, the only unpleasant individual to be found in this place – not a good... Sign in to see full entry.

Sochi Skulduggery...
“Don’t jinx it,” a friend said to me the other day when I mentioned how glad I was the Russian ‘Ring of Steel’ around Sochi had proved effective so far. I told him that if I had the power to jinx things, there’d be a lot else I’d turn my attention to. Today I’d put a hex on the judges of the ice... Sign in to see full entry.

And yes, you may find this tiring, as many of you may be tiring altogether of my insistence on harping on the disease of Islam. But what I find not just... Sign in to see full entry.

Free Season on Christians...Part I
Over the last few days there have been many comments that deserve a response, and I wish I had the time to answer them all. But for today I shall pick merely one. It’s by our Pat, who comments on my post ‘I’m not easily shocked’, which dealt with a Pentagon decision to allow Muslims in the military... Sign in to see full entry.

I am not easily shocked, but I am now...
It is also rare that you’ll find me speechless, but I don’t know what to say here, although it’s really a matter of not knowing where to start... Here’s what caused this reaction of mine, and of course my concern... The Pentagon’s Bow to Islamic Extremism “Caving to pressure from Muslim groups, the... Sign in to see full entry.
