There are, indeed, some fundamentalist Christians whose views are radically different from the majority - they aren't easy to spot as they look pretty much like rational folk. Which is why it may be more than "acceptance of differences" that promotes our leaders to encourage observant Muslims to dress traditionally. If they do so, they're much easier to spot.

It never ceases to amaze me the amount of accomodation to the Muslim groups. Whatever happened to logic?..And yes, the question that connecting the minor to the major aspects of Muhammad is a great one.
