I too am glad that everything went well, and that there were no 'incidents.' But at the same time, I must admit that I really did not follow one minute of any event. Kudos to all the winners, better luck next time to all the non-winners, but my attention will still be focused elsewhere . . .

I am glad to read that the Olympics went well. Like you, I was worried about everyone's safety.
And that pink eye Bob Costas got was something.

I had a great games too and had to sleep this afternoon was so tired so I missed the closing ceremony. I agree with everything that you write. That's it...let the history books recall. LOL.

Like you, I too enjoyed myself, other than the two losses, just kidding, and I too think that the games were ran very well by the Russians, but what was most satisfying to me was all of the home town folks (Park City is just over the hills from us, a 30 min. drive) who did well and came home with gold and silver.
