I suppose if one gave an equal number of supporters the chance to vote they would be bias. I am afraid it will have to be decided by computers eventually Naut as long as they are not rigged.

I must say that I'm glad that I'm not a judge, for I enjoyed every one of the dancing skater couples.

You must know I am happy with the win in the ice dancing event, but I must say the the Russian pair that skated to Swan Lake in the long program was far and away the best of the show. Saying that, let me add that the only thing in the Olympics I trust is the timed events as clocks have no favorites...And the two top pairs, one Canadian and one American coached by the same person...A Russian.

Watching the olympics is such an insult, it's not as though politics has always played a role, great writing my friend.

Unfortunately, this is nothing new. It's almost on a par with 'nepotism' . . .

It's a sorry state of affairs when the best is clearly seen by all
except the judges. It ain't fair to any of those in the contest. A competitor wants to win fair and square, not to see that top spot called into question.

It is terrible when that sort of thing happens...I remember it was big news when something like that happened in the 2002 Winter Olympics. I forget all of the particulars.

Thank you Naut. I have been saying this all along without having read anything about fixing from the judges. Actually the skating for years and years has been plagued by Judge fixing and I knew this would happen. In the short dance the Canadians were deliberately given a low score and the American couple a higher score and It is sad for bothe pairs danced a superb routine and their scores should have reflected that they were both perfect. Of course dear Canadians are so polite and fair they just smile and say sorry, grrrrrrrrrrr
