.A Flying Visit

Yes. I have been to Mumbai and am back in Delhi. It was, literally, a flying visit. The last time I was in Mumbai was in 2001. Any changes? The Onam Lunch

Yesterday I was invited to my friend Sheela's house for an Onam lunch. Onam is celebrated in the southern state of Kerala, where her husband - Madhavan - is from. Sheela is from Andhra Pradesh. Relishing the Custard Apple

Yesterday, as we stopped at the pavement fruit and vegetable stall (near Querishi's) on our way home, I noticed the custard apples in a basket. Dinner on the run

Yesterday, my husband and I planned to have dinner at home., after being in the city for a few hours in the afternoon. I started this blog in mid-March 2006 when I moved to Kabul, Afghanistan, for a four-month assignment. In mid-July I moved back to India, and am continuing the blog.
