TAPS. You don't know what you have been missing
I routinely watch movies in the afternoon, lying on the couch. I find it's is a nice break in the middle of the day.  Try it and let me know how you make out......

I don't think I have ever included Spiderman in one of my days.  LOL.  Maybe I should try it.

Well, you had just too much fun and I am jealous again.

Mostly about the clothing shopping. I used to love Brasil as we had a sewing lady who had our measurements and I would just take her some fabric and show her a drawing or a photograph of what I wanted and viola', new clothes a few days later. Sigh.....

And, the choice of fabrics in Brasil !!! They had fabrics from all over the world and accessories, too. America offers little in small towns like mine. Maybe five fabric stores and two are for furniture!!!

We do our fabric shopping in Mexico and go for hand weaves and colorful clothes.

My sister wears a long and beatifully multi-colored hand woven scarf that she gets many compliments on. She went into the airport Mexican store and they said, "What an interesting thing you have done with our table runner!" She said , "How interesting of you to turn a scarf into a table runner." Hmmmmmmmmmmm........

Fabrics..........yum. And dye shops around the corner, PLEASE. I want to go visit you NOW, but first I have to win the lottery.

Pat B, thanks
I think once in a while digression is fine.  I spent so much of my le driven with what I had to do, I think I am making up for it now by not oding so much.

Ciel, you day sounds pretty delicious too!
I love crab and anything associated with it.  That's why I love going to the seaside - adore seafood.

I feel like a regular slacker. All I did was cook chicken in the crockpot
and steam some broccoli. Add a few grape tomatoes, and that's a big plenty. But your menu sounds so so so much better. Yes, the days get away. I don't think it's in me to have one goal in mind and focus only on that -- life has a way of inviting me to digress.  I can just visualise the lovely fabrics. Your writing is clear and lyrical. :)pat

Sounds like a full and gratifying day!
I bought a dungeness crab today, and pulled all the meat out of it, then mixed it with some Korma sauce and added a few shrimp and some lima beans, and ate it over pasta.  It was pretty tasty!
