You've done it again! I get hungry by reading your posts. When can I expect your FedEx food parcel? Thanks for letting me know that you share the habit of reading several books at once.

Listen to Pat_B on the subject of Diet Cokes. YIKES.....a no no no no no.
Better to develop a removable roll of fat on your waistline than to have a removal tumor somewhere on your body. Really, the gods made sugar and the scientists made aspartame........and like high fructose corn syrup, altho' it comes from corn, it is so refined as to hurt the person imbibing it.....it should be avoided.
The words 'diet coke' stopped my pleasant day dreaming about your meal, too. I was going along dreaming yes, yes, tandoori, yes, and then Diet Coke???!!??

Good food; pleasant kids around; water to wash your hands. Life is never better than that.

Sounds like a nice dinner, very interesting.
But the diet cokes? OMG! You've described so many healthful meals, and then you add a can of what I consider poison? The aspartame sweetner has been proven to cause brain damage, couldn't you enjoy a nice cup of tea instead?

stop it, stop it, stop it...........
I can also smell the grill and taste the tandoori and just stop torturing me.........now.
All that I ate to day was a bowl of honey nut Cheerios cereal and some bananas sliced into it with milk.
Do you realize what a lovely exotic place you live in? My sister writes from Mexico and speaks so casually of wonderous things as you do. Makes me NUTS!!

The best of times

Thanks for the mini-vacations. Being pretty much homebound with Richard, going out is usually only to the Doctor or grocery store. Time and distance are irrelevent when I can travel with my mind.
