A little time travel...

Looking through my photobucket, I came across two charming portraits that I did not take, but treasure: my mother's parents when they were young... Ailene was around 20 when this was taken: She was frail in those days, and her family did not have high hopes that she would live long enough to have... Sign in to see full entry.

Davy and I went for a walk near North Bend, Washington

It was a lovely afternoon last Sunday, warm but not hot, and the woods were full of sunlight and spicy green scents of ferns and evergreen resins. Mt St Helens: Getting it in perspective

Silver the stars Southern Cross and Milky Way on deepest night... Silver the... Sign in to see full entry.

a few odd shots

This one, I was going for the mist-laden spider webbing, but the camera would not focus where I wanted it to, and my daughter was waiting... As we drove along the water, I was going for the waves and color... but this jogger was just suddenly there! So she is now here! A tidal pool, a small basin... Sign in to see full entry.

Every time I walk an interesting trail, I think of our TAPS who is fond of trails leading to unknown places... Here is one near daughter's house, where she frequently walks with Cooper, my grandpuppy. And here you can see a distant trail-- the road over the Remutaka Range And this one is looking...
