October winter morning
It's 19F this morning, and the heat is on in the house. Artichokes are baking, and I am considering what I have that can be roasted today. The sun shines brightly if not warmly on the maple tree where the bright yellows are now a toasty golden brown. Some snow is predicted for this morning and more in the late afternoon. It's looking like a good day to stay home, and that is, in fact, the plan. I've been watching BROKENWOOD MYSTERIES this past week. The stories are okay, the people are okay, and...
