We are getting first snow tonight apparently. My Dunany Demons are cavorting in joy!! I haven't really watched much cinema since I got into sports, but I can understand your writing that Hollywood chooses for looks rather than talent. That I HAVE seen in a couple of programs.

It seems to me that the British are outstanding actors and in most any theatre work. I certainly tip my hat to them.

have a warm toasty day staying inside and taking life easy. it is cold here too and I believe this will be the end of all that is left of my garden. It is still only 34F this afternoon and this am it was below freezing.

I was getting cold just reading your post but I know snow will be here before we know it. I think it is a good day to turn on the oven and bake something good. I'm glad you are staying home where you will be warm and safe on such a cold day.

You mentioned something about Brit cinema that I noticed quite some
time ago: those actors are more like real people and less like movie stars. More relatable in that they don't have every hair in place and perfect makeup in the action scenes. Been watching the weather channel, forecasts of snow & thinking about how you're getting around in all that - my sis who lives in Oregon, has been having winter today as well. I've put on my wool socks in sympathy, and in advance of the cold front that's coming our way. Stay cozy.
