EmberCat was alarmed.
While I was downstairs in the cool of the house, there was some storminess blowing through, and as happens sometimes, when windows are open on such occasions, certain doors slam shut with a certain gusto. I heard three slams yesterday evening: my bedroom door, the adjoining bathroom door, because the bathroom has its own window, and the door between living room and deck.
