The girls are full of energy this morning, scritching away madly in their new box. They slept huddled in a corner of the tank last night because yesterday they ate their nest box. Well, shredded it. Most of it. It is now the foyer to the new box, a striped tissue box of the standard width but of the flattish sort. I stuffed a couple of tissues inside from which they can make softer nesting material. They seem not just busy, but actually enthusiastic, maybe even delighted. I don't know how one...
