It was no surprise that connections were departed or cancelled when we arrived at the Dallas/Fort Worth airport. Because I had gate-checked my carryon, I escaped relatively quickly (for sitting in the rear of the plane) but the line for the ticket agent was already longish, maybe 10 ahead of me, and only one agent. Only one? What were they thinking? 1 in the morning, and very tired travellers, and a need for efficiency... I didn't see the second agent arrive, or know she was there as she was...
