The dream ends...
More than once I have gloated over the lack of mosquitoes where I live. In three years, I saw maybe three mosquitoes! This summer, that gloating ends. It has been a wetter spring and summer than usual and somewhere, water is gathering. So--mosquitoes. We've dumped out all the containers that collect water, but there is not much we can do about the pool on the flat roof that we can't even see.
