Clouds like a crowd of sheep, patches of bright green where sunlight gets through to the ground... Across the valley can be seen the turrets of Stonyhurst College, Tolkien's old stomping ground, and there we plan to go stomping, ourselves, later this morning. The Tolkien Walk is a loop footpath that starts and finishes in Hurst Green.
