After the wind...
We're done with the wind for now, and have sent it on eastward for your enjoyment, you who live out that way and not the other way. It was intermittantly intense here, but a friend to the south had 100mph, she reports. Here the problem was the air stirring around the living room, annoying the 'keets. Birds like breezes on them even less than cold. So, finally we pulled in the a/c outflow hose from its place alongside the window, and closed it for the season. I undraped the birdcage, and all's...
