Gale Forces!
Today we are waking to winds in the treetops and everywhere between! The forecast warns to expect 20-40 mph with possible 60mph gusts. This is expected to last 2-3 days. There was a time during my first visit to NZ when the wind blew steadily and strongly around my daughter and son-in-law's house northwest of Wellington for a week, until it developed, to my mind, almost a personality, a force of will.
