So much driving! After taking the longer, slower route up to Bailey--via I-25 to hwy 85 to I-240 then up into the mountains on 285, instead of high-speed busy Interstate all the way, I picked up my friend and we headed back to the Springs via Hwy 67 which led us along forest roads, unpaved and some alarmingly unsmooth, by many ups and downs and windings, to connect with I-24 at Woodland Park, thence down into the Springs.
