Today it was spring
It was near 80F in Colorado Springs, and we were in Palmer Park soaking in the sunshine. Green leaves have begun to appear, and bright green blades are pushing up through the hummocks of old dead grass. And the winter-bleak ground under the pines has these lovely little flowers bursting into bloom just in time for Easter--for they are pasque flowers, and this is their season. http://www.flickr.com/photos/therovingeye/ Sign in to see full entry.
