Forgiveness is not about forgetting.

It is about letting go, and accepting that what is, is; what has been, has been. There are so many things in a lifetime that call for us to practice a little forgiveness-- sometimes a lot! Insults, slights and deliberate attempts to hurt us... Someone else's mistakes that we end up paying for... Accidents, failures, inconveniences, assaults...
