Healing, Working Miracles Were Apart of Yeshua's Teachings - Why Not Today?

The abilities one can attain at the psychic level of consciousness were at one time part of the development process of those following Yeshua and his disciples. Paul wrote of the powers that all can have in his letters to the Corinthians. (Though he did so mainly to stop the boasting and jealousy found among the Corinthians regarding these abilities.) Yeshua also stated that anyone could do the things he did, and more. This begs the question, why this isn't a part of the path of Christian... Sign in to see full entry.

Telepathy, Clairvoyance, Healing - Get Closer to "God" and do These Things

In an earlier post, I wrote of being able to sense things during a meditative state. Currently, as I am still a novice, this sensing happens only during meditation. However, as one becomes more spiritually advanced, one will reach the Psychic level of spirituality/consciousness. At this level (the sixth level of human awareness), one begins to receive information from beyond the five senses. It is at this level that one begins to develop extra-sensory perception. At the Psychic level, one is... Sign in to see full entry.

Touch the Divine Daily

There is in each of us a spark of divinity. There is in each of us a connection to “God”. We only have to want to access it, we only have to want to touch it, for it to happen. The problem is, there is too much “stuff” in the way. We’ve got a mortgage to worry about, kids to get through school, a boss hounding us for the updated presentation – accessing “God” is the last thing on our minds. Well, it shouldn’t be. While it is true that for complete union with “God” to occur, we must give up the... Sign in to see full entry.

I Know "God" Exists Because I Have Experienced "God"

I’ve written quite often on statements made by various mystics about “God”, and it occurred to me that some may not be aware of what mystics and mysticism is all about. Evelyn Underhill, a well-known mystic and author of many books on mysticism and spirituality, offered the definitive definition of mysticism: "Mysticism, according to its historical and psychological definitions, is the direct intuition or experience of God; and a mystic is a person who has, to a greater or less degree, such a... A Different Take on Hell

As I have mentioned before in this blog, I do not believe in the Hell that many Christians and others believe in. But as I continue to research and partake in contemplative prayer, I am more and more comfortable with the idea that there is a different kind of hell that one can end up in. Most people go through life with either a positive or a negative attitude. And since like attracts like, those of a positive bent tend to join with others who are positive; those who are negative tend to join... Sign in to see full entry.

Ignorance is Comforting

Having left the bank of Ignorance (temporarily) to wend my way toward Christ consciousness, I am constantly challenged by roadblocks that keep me from my goal. Most roadblocks are erected by my Ego in an attempt to force me from my path. My Ego is especially adept at rummaging through the dark crevices and corners of my baggage-riddled psyche, to recreate old fears that can cause me to lose my way. In fact, my Ego is so good at bringing my fears to the surface, it actually creates a kind of... Sign in to see full entry.

A Journey Toward Christ Consciousness

As I travel the long, lonely path toward Christ consciousness, I find that more of my true self, like water in an artesian well, bubbles slowly and continually to the surface. I find that as I stand at the river of Wisdom wishing desperately to cross, connections that were never visible to me before, are now playfully slapping my face, as if to say, “Finally, you see us! We’ve been here all along.” It is a truly amazing occurrence. Where before there were no bridges, so that I was stranded on... Sign in to see full entry.

We Can Be One With "God" By Uniting in Christ Consciousness

If one wants to experience Christ consciousness – the kingdom, the spiritual realm - one must go within. As Yeshua said in the Dialogue of the Savior: “... what you seek and inquire after, look, it is within you.” And as he tells us in the Gospel of Thomas: “Rather, the Kingdom is inside of you, and it is outside of you. When you come to know yourselves, then you will be known, and you will realize that you are the sons of the living Father. But if you will not know yourselves, then you will... Before Abraham Was, I Am - A Direct Reference to Christ Consciousness

Here is an interesting saying from Yeshua. In John, 8:58, He states that, “before Abraham was, I am.” It’s a pretty confusing statement because it makes no sense. It’s not logical. How could someone who is existing in a certain time and place also have been around before someone who has been long dead? What could Yeshua have meant by this? In my opinion, this is a direct reference to the concept of Christ consciousness. Yeshua was making the statement from the perspective of the Christ, of... Sign in to see full entry.
