So, Terry Schiavo is near death. The courts have backed her husband in his insistence that she would not want to be kept alive. Her parents, of course, are trying anything and everything to keep her alive. Regardless of the politics on either side or who is right and who is wrong, maybe the question for any Christian is, what would Yeshua do? While no one knows of course, if he were here today and was aware of the Schiavo case, putting aside the possibility of him healing her, I wonder what he... Sign in to see full entry.

What if Yeshua Never Left?
Ciel posed this fascinating question in a recent comment. What if Yeshua hasn’t left? What if he has always been here? Of course, part of him did leave. In mystic traditions, once a person reaches the final level of spiritual consciousness, the nondual level, one’s consciousness has ascended and melded with “God”. But this doesn’t mean that the person has died. He or she may live for many years at this level of spirituality. There are many mystics, Christian and otherwise, who walk the earth... What if Yeshua Doesn't Need to Come Back for the Kingdome to Come?
The kingdom of heaven. The spiritual realm. Whatever one wants to call it, this kingdom is within. This is what Yeshua has stated. And of course, to a degree, the kingdom is also without. It is outside of all. It is everywhere one looks because “God” is everywhere one looks. It is everywhere one works. It is everywhere one plays. But to create the ultimate spiritual realm here on earth, one does not have to wait for Yeshua’s return. One merely has to go within. This is why the concepts of... Sign in to see full entry.

Remember Your First Love?
Remember the first time you fell in love? Remember how you felt? You walked around all day with a big goofy grin on your face. Everything seemed more alive to you. You noticed flowers in your neighbor’s yard that you passed every day on your way to the mailbox that you could have sworn were never there before. And the colors of each of those flowers was so vibrant. If you happened to meet up with someone, whether you knew them or not, you just felt warmth toward them. And the glow you had.... What if Salvation is Saving One's Self from Self?
Salvation - being saved from our sins. This is the traditional Christian meaning of salvation. Well, what if salvation is not about being saved from our sins. What if salvation is all about being saved from one’s self, i.e. Ego? If one believes that Ego is the biggest challenge faced by those wanting to get closer to “God”, then the idea that salvation is being saved from one’s Self makes sense. And by looking at the requirements for salvation, one can argue that salvation is being saved from... Sign in to see full entry.

So We Can Perform Miracles Like Yeshua. So What?
So we can all create miracles if we believe and work hard. So what? It isn’t the end all and be all for followers of Yeshua. As a matter of fact, performing miracles can create more problems then it solves (remember what Paul told the Corinthians regarding boasting about their abilities). So what does it mean? It means a couple of things. If you are able to perform miracles as a result of your work on becoming spiritually mature, good for you! You are moving that much closer to union with “God”.... If the Concept of Aura is True Then Anyone Can Create Miracles Like Yeshua
I am by no means an expert on the following, but bear with me as I offer an interesting explanation. If one agrees with the premise that the body has an aura that contains several layers and that the thought layer is where everything starts, then some interesting concepts become more concrete. If something starts as a thought and moves down through the previous layers (though the idea of layers being separate is not quite right for this concept), have emotion attached to it in the astral... Anyone Can Resurrect
As I mentioned in earlier posts, I have no problem believing in Yeshua's resurrection. As a matter of fact, I have no problem believing in others who have made a similar claim. Hindu spiritual master Paramahansa Yogananda wrote of his experience of the resurrection of his guru, Sri Yukteswarji Giri. There are also examples of what is known as bi-location, where one has two bodies located in different areas. Italian saint Alphonsus de Liguori is said to have done this while in a coma, leaving his... Sign in to see full entry.

We All Are Truth; We All Are Lies
The still small voice within is still no more. What was once a faint whisper from deep within banks of fog is now so forceful that it's delicate shout shreds the clouds. What was once hardly audible for me is now a symphony of answers to questions that have seared my soul. This restless large voice within has expaned as a direct result of my actions and intent. Over the course of the last few months, I have asked for help in raising the volume of the voice and to remove the fog so that I may... Sign in to see full entry.

How Can One Not Believe in the Resurrection?
With Easter just over a week away, there is quite a debate going on between liberal and conservative theologians about the resurrection of Christ. Some liberals claim that the resurrection is metaphor for what one has to go through (the death of the Ego) in order to become one with God. John Shelby Spong, a respected liberal theologian, has actually stated that the resurrection couldn’t have possibly happened because it is physically impossible. Nor could the earth have shook, nor the skys gone... Sign in to see full entry.
