Cleaning is rough. Perhaps that's why I made a good living running my residential and commercial cleaning business in Nevada during the 1990s. I quickly realized that most people simply don't enjoy cleaning. Thorough cleaning is certainly a demanding chore. Enjoy your visit. The holidays and family are meant to go together.

Good afternoon
I think it’s so exciting to be going to your son’s for Thanksgiving.  I know your grandchildren are so excited to see you!  Who will be cooking for the holiday?  Will you have a traditional meal?  I think the mop you got sounds like it will be helpful while you clean and get ready to decorate for Christmas.  I’ve been looking at a long handle mop and considering getting it.  I hope you have a good day.

Much better items for your memory book to visit with the grandkids than to spend the time cleaning. Grandkids grow up while you're busy doing something else.
