Kabu's comment on yesterday's Halloween story is exactly right

I did revise a chapter of my 922 Holyoake Road ghost story. I sharpened the conflict between George and Isabel, deleted some redundancies. The Missouri dept. of transportation planned to shut down a main drag

through downtown Friday night at six p.m. Something about necessary pre-winter maintenance. The problem: lots of out-of-town drivers were in St. Louis for World Series Game 7. One advantage to "old-timer's" memory shrinkage --

no re-runs on TV. Every "encore" program becomes all shiny and new. Pet Peeve of the month

The MJ / Conrad Murray trial is going on far, far too long. They proved the charges against him in one or two days -- negligence at a criminal level.
