Nothing like self-assurance

to make a man attractive. I'm not talking about bragging and blowing about how wonderful, how tough, how smart, etc... I'm talking about calmly being there, being articulate enough to state his case. Have you read anything by Mary Oliver?

She's a poet, writes a lot about nature, both the great outdoors and human nature. I have her poetry book on my shelf between one by Maya Angelou and another by Sherman Alexie. I'm a fan of Jon Stewart and The Daily Show on Comedy Central. If I miss it in the evening, I try to catch it in rerun the next day.
