How about a 'teacher pizza' ?

The sound of 22 giggling second graders

There was some extreme giggling going on in my once- a- week second grade speech class yesterday. The kids were having so much fun that they forgot they were in their formerly (before me) scary 'speech' class. How do you say goodbye to your website?

A different kind of 9/11 memorial

On this day seven years ago my Dad was mowing the lawn and had a sudden heart attack. Mom found him about 45 minutes later and he was gone. my two guys are dozing...

... I'm fixing supper and Mister Cat and Bruce are dozing on their respective sofas. I'm cooking lamb chops on the grill, green beans with garlic, mushrooms and pine nuts. The terrible twins got kicked out of class today (their first day!)

The 'terrible twins' showed up for their first day of my older kids class (5-6 grade). They were dressed identically, striped tops and orange shorts, looking like a pair of Chinese demons, and I really couldn't tell them apart at all.
