Second grade, Nanaroo? Isn't that 7 or 8, usually?

Blanche
well- actually, they might be a bit older- how old are kids in second grade?

Blanche
I think that is about how old these kids are!

Nanaroo, I don't know that much about kids, but I thought every boy went
through the fart and booger stage at about 7 or so, where it's hysterically funny.

I'll post a photo-- and getting the kids to wear it too will be most of the fun!

I was kidding but if you really need one...

Why don't you  make one? Just start with a basic hat in a similar shape and wrap some fabric around and around. That Quick Grabbing Glue will hold it in place. You can get those strings of cheap pearls anywhere.

Have fun.

I'm going to do a post to get some help with a 'swami' speech assignment for second graders!
Now, all I need is a hat....

silly kids can be a lot of fun, huh?
Next week, I'm going to bring a Johnny Carson swami hat in and do some fun stuff with that!  Hubby and I have been trying to remember the whole thing he did with that.... these kids would love it--

yeah and at one point, there was a parent listening to the kids reading these recipes and at that point (but she was OK with it- friendly), and  I was the one with the .  Next class, I am going to have a talk with them about appropriate language for speeches.  At the time though, they were having so much innocent fun, I just didn't have the heart to turn into the 'teacher ogre'.
