A-OK!!!

We were at Target today- new dishes, silverware, hand towels, rugs- oh JOY! At the checkout I whispered to hubby, 'Hey, aren't these things stuff people are supposed to give us for wedding gifts?" I told hubby- "don't come home without a wireless router!"

Today our cable modem died... and the wireless router has been DOA since our move. Yipes! No internet access for more than twenty minutes- THIS IS AN EMERGENCY! My brain went into overdrive. The Dragon is home!

I drove the Dragon home today- to her new home- we raced along Highway 5, up to Orange County amidst a beautiful sunset over the ocean. We LOVE our new place!!!

The dreaded moving day is over and it was a 'doozie'! A hot, dry, Santa Ana day, the movers were sweating buckets. I felt so sorry for them hauling everything up three flights of stairs!! Send a pizza with that light bulb, will ya?!

Today we went and signed the papers for our new luxury apartment and they said to us- "Hey we're a full service company, if you need to replace a light bulb, call us, we'll come and do that!" Had to find a good home for this one...

My hubby has had a wooden kitchen drop-leaf table that he has sat at almost every day since he was a little kid. The table comes with high-back chairs with caned seats. Today I realized that I've been stuck in this house, organizing and packing, since Wednesday and I was nuts to get out of here. What is the best way to move a cat?

I haven't had to do a move with a cat in a long time and am trying to figure out what will work best for our Mister Cat. The teacher who replaced me already quit!

Today I talked with the teacher who replaced me and this was his last day. It sounded like the kids were bouncing off the walls and he couldn't handle it.
