It had to be difficult to let the table go.  The hardest part is not knowing if it will be taken care of.  Hopefully they will utilize it and take good care of it, too!

How sad you had to part with it, Nana.  I hope the lady and her sons make good on their promise to take care of it.  It must be very hard for your husband to let it go afer it's been a part of him for so long.  It's a lovely set.

Glad you found it a nice home! Your a wonderful person for throwing in the rice cooker my sister. Sorry Bruce had to part with the table after so many years, but alas I know sometimes it is best to let things go...

What a shame to sell it!

It's strange how we get so attached to pieces of furniture. I go out to Rockwall and just open the door to my storage shed and look at my stuff sometimes. I miss having a home.

Hope you guys are getting all settled in your new place.
