Dragon update...

It may not be the clutch- I had a long talk with a very knowledgeable guy this morning (the guy at the warranty company) and he said if it was the clutch, the engine would be racing and it's not-- he thinks it's a transmission return spring or something that regulates the clutch pedel coordination.... The Dragon needs a new clutch!

Well, gosh darn it, wouldn't you know- the Dragon (my motorcycle) has come up with the answer for 'everything is too perfect." She needs a new clutch- prematurely I might add, and I've been so gentle with that darn clutch. Today she just wasn't downshifting unless I turned the ignition off and on-... My new favorite author

I found a new Asian student school today!

I stumbled upon it, quite by accident- but there it was, 'Dr. Choi's Academy' with a very oriental-looking woman sitting at the front desk. 'Hey,' I thought, 'I need to be brave and go in there.' Braved the wind today

The Dragon and I braved the 405 freeway today, gulp, in 30mph winds! She snorted and pawed her way through traffic and winds that at times, seemed to blow us sideways. That cowboy feeling...

I've been doing all my errands on the Dragon this week because hubby needs the car for work. It gives me kind of an independent 'riding the iron horse' sort of feeling. The quality of light

The light around here is so pretty at any given time of day or night. The eastern sunrises over the Santa Ana mountains often throw a purple golden light our way; the sun comes up brilliantly to shine in our eastern- facing rooms.
