Flying on the Dragon

Now that I'm not loaded up with books, photocopies, files, and kid stuff, I can get out on the Dragon again for my errands. A brave Uncle that I never knew...

One of my dad's brothers was a B-17 co-pilot in WWII. His plane was shot down over the English Channel and we have finally found an account of it, written by some surviving crew members. The kids threw a going away party for me!

I'm a 'Lame Duck' teacher now.

So, we all know I'm leaving. They're still complaining but now it is like, 'Who's going to be in charge of the stickers?" Today I felt a little like a 'lame duck' teacher. What do you accomplish in your dreams?

In my dream last night I drove a boat from San Francisco to San Diego, visited with friends, ran half way across the city to the jetty and almost got washed off the jetty by a huge wave. I told the kids today...

about our move. The younger kids were all shocked and they howled in unison, '"Nooooooooo!!!!!!" I love to give away clothes!

Today I bagged up about half my clothes and shoes to give to Goodwill. I wonder if I will ever see anyone walking around in these clothes?!
