Our visit to our new apartment today...

Today we spent about two hours in our new apartment, measuring and plotting out where everything is going to go. the littlest angel

I''m squeezing the most amount of enjoyment I can out of my last days with my students. Yesterday, I saw the little girl that I call, 'the littlest angel.' A street named 'Simplicity'

Our new address is on a street named 'Simplicy.' Not Simplicity Lane or Simplicity Blvd. or Simplicity anything... just 'Simplicity'! That is so appropriate. How do YOU say goodbye?

I gave my notice at the school today, "We're moving," I said, "at the end of the month." The shocked look on the administrator's face said it all. "What? When? Oh no!" Moving on...

We're moving soon and that means I'm going to have to say goodbye to my little students. I'll also have to say goodbye to our backyard hawks and life as I've known it here. A surprise birthday party!

Yesterday the kids threw me a surprise birthday party... well not quite a surprise. I got sent to the principal's office today!

... Evidently, the parents of the little guy I 'demoted' last week were complaining about why he couldn't be in my class. I had to stand firm.
